Identification of Main Phenolic Compounds of Nitraria Retusa Leaf and Stem Extracts and Evaluation of Their Anti-Adipogenic Activity in 3T3-L1 Cells

The edible halophyte Nitraria retusa known in traditional medicine purposes was used as a support this study. present study investigated the chemical analyses of general composition leaf and stem extracts using RP-HPLC. Results showed richness these phenolics especially flavonoids luteolin-7-O-glucoside, isorhamnetin-3-O-rutinoside, isorhamnetin, quercetin others. In total, nine compounds were identified for each organ extract. Luteolin-7-O-glucoside, isorhamnetin-3-O-rutinoside Isorhamnetin are three which common leaves stems. Adipogenesis assay performed to investigate effect organs, well last on adipocyte differentiation lipid droplets accumulation 3T3-L1 cells. Based Oil-Red-O content quantification cells, results that extract N. at 25, 50, 100, 200 400 μg/mL could not inhibit droplet compared untreated dose dependent manner. However, better with isorhamnetin even 5μM. Moreover, single bioactive components cell proliferation cells more efficient than one. Besides, according morphological observation, strongly significantly affected proliferation.
